What does Dr. Quesada specialize in?
Dr. Quesada is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult and pediatric conditions of the skin, hair, and nails.
How are online consultations conducted?
During an online consultation, your medical history will be reviewed, and your skin concern/s discussed in detail. Your condition will be assessed based on the photos/video you provide. The likely diagnosis will be explained, your questions answered, and an appropriate treatment plan recommended. Prescriptions will be provided as needed. If your condition cannot be accurately diagnosed or managed through teleconsultation alone, an in-person consultation will be recommended for a more thorough examination or to perform any necessary procedures.
Can I walk in to a clinic without an appointment?
Walk-ins are accepted but we highly recommend booking an appointment for your convenience. ✔ Receive updates on any schedule changes ✔ Get your prescription digitally after your consultation ✔ No registration needed—simply check in with our secretary upon arrival Note: For the main Pasay clinic, time slots are assigned. If you have an appointed time slot, you will be prioritized over walk-in patients. For St. Dominic Medical Center, patients are seen on a 1st come, 1st served basis, whether or not an appointment was booked.
What are the consultation fees?
The consultation fee is ₱1000 for both virtual and in-person clinic consultation. For virtual consultations, an additional ₱125 processing fee is charged by the NowServing platform on top of the professional fee. Payment is made through the platform upon booking to confirm the appointment. For in-person clinic consultations, the consultation fee is paid at the clinic after the consultation. Please note that consultation fees cover the medical consultation and assessment. Any procedures, medications, or products that may be recommended are charged separately.
What are the payment options at the clinics?
Clinic Consult: Payment is settled after the consultation (cash, GCash, BPI online transfer, debit/credit card) Virtual Consult: Payment is required upon booking (GCash, Maya, bank transfer, GrabPay, debit/credit card) Note: Debit/credit card transactions are channeled through the NowServing platform & incur additional processing fees.
Can I book a virtual appointment even if I am out of the country?
Yes. We have many patients who are based overseas. You may book an online consultation regardless of your current location. During the consultation, your skin condition will be assessed, possible diagnoses discussed, and medical advice provided. A personalized skincare regimen can be recommended, along with suitable over-the-counter products available in your country whenever possible. Please note that prescriptions issued by Dr. Quesada may not be recognized or honored outside the Philippines. If your condition requires prescription medication, the recommended treatment options will be discussed, but you may need to consult a physician licensed in your country to obtain a valid local prescription. If you wish to purchase products available from our clinic, we can also arrange international shipping. Courier charges will apply.
Does Dr. Quesada offer online consultations?
Aside from on-site consultations at her physical clinics, Dr. Quesada is partnered with NowServing/SeriousMD, a secure telemedicine platform where online consultations are done via real-time video calls (a unique, personal link for the NowServing mobile app will be sent to you after booking an appointment). For better assessment, you will be asked to send high-resolution photos of your skin condition thru the NowServing app or via email (quesadaderm@gmail.com) prior to your appointment. Rest assured that all photos and information you share will be accessed only by Dr. Quesada and will be kept confidential according to data privacy laws.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
If there are time slots still available at the clinic branch of your choice, you can get a same-day appointment. If you have a specific time slot in mind, let us know so we can accommodate you if possible.
Do the clinics accept HMOs?
At St. Dominic Medical Center, patients with Maxicare, Intellicare, and Avega may use their HMO for consultations, subject to the HMO’s eligibility and approval requirements. For consultations at the Main Clinic and Virtual Clinic, HMOs are not accepted, and consultation fees are paid directly by the patient.
How can I purchase the items prescribed during my consultation?
Your prescription includes recommended products that are available both at our clinics and at most pharmacies. If you prefer to purchase from our clinics, products may be bought immediately after your consultation or ordered later for personal pickup or courier delivery after online payment. To place an order from the Main Pasay Clinic, please contact our secretary, Ms. Nida, at 0905 218 5686 (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM). To place an order from the St. Dominic Medical Center Clinic, please contact our secretary, Ms. Yolly, at 0942 987 6342. (Monday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM). For provincial addresses, we can arrange delivery via LBC. Delivery typically takes 1–3 business days, depending on your location. Courier charges apply.
Do you issue medical certificates?
Yes. A medical certificate is a signed legal document that requires the physician's professional assessment and certification. For this reason, a separate fee applies when a medical certificate is requested. Medical certificates are not included in the consultation fee or insurance coverage. They are issued only after a consultation and only when there is a valid medical indication or legitimate purpose. To help prevent misuse, all medical certificates issued by our clinic are verifiable. Upon request from authorized parties (such as employers or schools), we will confirm the authenticity of the certificate by providing a verification certificate.
